New management at Geothermie Neubrandenburg GmbH (GTN)

Dr. André Deinhardt and Stefan Thiem have taken over the management of Geothermie Neubrandenburg GmbH (GTN) with effect from 1 January 2024. GTN has been part of COWI, a Danish company active in the fields of engineering, architecture, energy and the environment, since May 2023.

 

Dr. André Deinhardt joined GTN after eleven years as Managing Director of the German Geothermal Energy Association. The Federal Geothermal Energy Association represents around 450 members. Dr. André Deinhardt studied public law, economics and business administration in Munich, Hagen and Cambridge (UK). Dr. André Deinhardt takes over the commercial management of GTN.

 

Stefan Thiem has been Head of Reservoir Engineering at GTN for eight years and is an authorized signatory. He studied geosciences at the University of Potsdam and has been responsible for a large number of successful shallow and deep geothermal projects. Stefan Thiem takes over the technical management of GTN.

 

The founders and previous managing directors of GTN, Dr. Peter Seibt and Dr. Frank Kabus, are retiring after more than 30 years of successful work.
