Geothermal planner GTN strengthens its team in Augsburg and Berlin

GTN is strengthening its team with new colleagues in the areas of drilling technology, plant engineering and permitting management. On May 2, 2024, the team for plant and process engineering will start in Augsburg. The new location in Augsburg brings GTN even closer to its customers in southern Germany.

Aike van Douwe, an experienced project manager, is taking over the management in Augsburg. As Head of Project Management, he was previously responsible for a number of geothermal projects in south-west Germany.

Peter Fischer strengthens GTN's expertise in the field of plant and process engineering. Peter Fischer was most recently Head of Mechanical Engineering and has been involved in a number of successful geothermal projects since 2012, including in Kirchweidach, Beerse (Belgium) and Traunreut.

As an experienced geoecologist, Sabine Hahn primarily provides support in the area of permitting management for geothermal projects. Over the past fifteen years, she has played a leading role in a number of geothermal research projects.

Saman Fazel Amirhosseini joins the GTN drilling engineering team in Berlin. He obtained his Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering (Drilling and Production) at the Technical University of Clausthal-Zellerfeld. He previously gained experience at UGS Mittenwalde as a project engineer for underground technology.

GTN Managing Director André Deinhardt emphasizes: "GTN is growing organically in a very positive market environment. With this increase in personnel, GTN is ensuring the high quality of geothermal planning for all GTN customers."
